SEMBC Hotels
Three hotels in Savannah have been selected to house SEMBC attendees. While the main host hotel, the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, is located directly next door to the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center where all of the SEMBC educational events and trade show will be held, our additional hotels are set charmingly in the Savannah Historic District right across the river (Doubletree Savannah Historic District and Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District). For those attendees who stay across the river, the main venues are a short ferry boat ride across the river. All of the hotel information you need is contained below, so make your reservations directly with the hotel of your choice now! The group name for each of the hotels is “Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers.” When calling to make your reservation, please tell the reservationist the group name. Important Note: GAMB was previously holding a block of rooms at the Inn at Ellis Square, but has now cancelled that room block. Please make your reservations at one of the three hotels below.

Important Notes on Making Your Westin Reservations:
To make reservations online, you must go to the direct link above. If you go to the general Westin web site, you will be told that all rooms are sold out. This is because GAMB is holding virtually all of the Westin’s hotel rooms in its room block. You must either use the SEMBC’s link to the Westin site (above), or call the Westin and make your reservations by telling the reservationist the group name “Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers.” The event name, “SEMBC,” will also come up on the reservations computer, but it is more difficult for the reservationist to locate.

The SEMBC Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 28 at 12:00noon at the Club at Savannah Harbor, part of the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. This 18-hole Troon-managed championship course, designed by Robert Cupp and Sam Snead, is home to the PGA TOUR Champions Tour Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf tournament. The impeccably maintained course, designed by Robert Cupp and Sam Snead, was awarded a four-star rating by Golf Digest and designated one of the “Places to Play” in 2002. The course has also been rated as one of the "Top 10 New Places to Play Golf" by Golf & Travel, a “Top 100 of American’s Golf Courses” by Conde Nast Traveler, “Savannah’s Premier Resort” by Southern Living, and “Savannah’s Golf Centerpiece” by Golf Magazine. The Troon Golf Institute and an award-winning Pro Shop are also located on the property. You can preregister for the tournament on the “SEMBC General Registration Form” through October 12, 2007.
