What is GAMB?
The Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers (GAMB), a State Affiliate of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB), is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit state trade organization that was incorporated in 1985 to promote a positive origination and lending environment for mortgage brokers and their customers. GAMB provides education, supports legislative initiatives, encourages high standards of professional ethics and integrity from its members, and promotes these principles throughout the community.

GAMB's Current President is the Only Person Authorized to Speak on Behalf of GAMB
In accordance with the GAMB Bylaws, the current GAMB President is the only individual who is authorized to speak on behalf of the organization. The GAMB Board of Directors
The GAMB Board of Directors oversees and votes upon the business of the association at regularly scheduled Board Meetings. The GAMB Nominating Committee prepares a proposed slate of Board Members for an upcoming year and presents the proposed slate to the membership for its vote. Board Members generally serve their terms in conjunction with the usual annual operations of the association, which currently run on a calendar year from January through December. Officers generally serve one year in each officer position, and Directors serve two-year terms. The Board receives advisement on matters that involve the GAMB Bylaws, contracts and other legal items, from the GAMB Legal Counsel.

GAMB Committees
GAMB Committees carry out the plans of the association as directed by the GAMB President and Board. Most association events are planned and coordinated by committees, and some committees, such as the GAMB Nominating Committee, handle specific tasks in accordance with the GAMB Bylaws. Committee Chairs are generally appointed by the GAMB President, approved by the Board and serve one-year terms.

The GAMB Membership
The association's membership is composed of mortgage brokers, loan originators and other employees of mortgage brokers, mortgage lenders and individuals employed by industry-related companies, such as mortgage insurance companies, law firms, appraisers, title insurance companies, banks and credit reporting companies. Most of the members reside in Georgia. Please note that membership rosters containing the contact information for our members is supplied only to other association members. Should you wish to join the association in order to have access to GAMB's Membership Roster, you can join or renew online on this site, and printable membership forms are included in the "Membership" section. The Association's Management Staff
GAMB is managed by an independent staff, whose services include managing the association's business affairs under the direction of the GAMB Board of Directors. The staff provides support in such areas as administrative and financial services, event planning and coordination, record-keeping and membership services. The staff assists the GAMB Board and Committees with their responsibilities, provides support to the association's members and other support providers, and serves as the association's business liaison with vendors and related organizations, such as the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Association Event Sponsorship Opportunities
GAMB hosts numerous events throughout the year, many of which have sponsorship opportunities that contain promotion and/or advertising. Examples include advertising in conference printed programs, the various types of recognition given to GAMB Industry Partners on a continuing basis, and other events that contain sponsor recognition through announcements, signage and listings in The Georgia Mortgage Press, on the GAMB Web Site, in event marketing materials, and in email broadcasts. These sponsorship opportunities vary depending upon the association's upcoming events.
